Enensys 1+1 Smart Switch for IP Redundancy
IPGuardV3 provides IP redundancy for video delivery systems.
It enables 1+1 automatic IP switching with a hardware bypass mechanism (needed if there is a power outage). IPGuardV3 is provided on a 1RU hardware platform. Typically IPGuard is used to switch between main and backup TSoIP or IP stream video sources.
Configurable criteria dictate when switch over occurs.
Key Features
- Seamless switching between two identical MPEG-2 TS, T2-MI, RTP or STL streams.
- Up to 6 IPGuardV3 modules can be housed in the same 1RU HDc chassis.
- One IPGuardV3 module is able to manage up to 6 TSoIP switches or up to 6 RTP Streams.
- IPGuard can also manage up to 60 IP switches based on IP conditions.
- Also suitable for ATSC 1.0 & 3.0 automatic switch-over.
- Inputs: 1x Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) for GUI/SNMP and 2x Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) for input streams.
- Outputs: 2x mirrored Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) for output streams.
