TSMonitor
TSMonitor is a cable DSG tunnel and in-band MPEG transport stream
analysis and monitoring system.
A standard configuration of TSMonitor supports a total of forty UDP
inputs. These inputs may be live streamed data prior to routing via
a CMTS, downstream of the CMTS from an RF input or from a PCAP file.
In summary:
-
TSMonitor can analyse OOB data and object carousels, XAITs,
CVTs, SCTE-65 based channel maps and
EAS signaling.
-
All monitored content displayed in a suitably clear form.
-
Statistics on content delivery and any encoding/transmission
errors detected.
-
Warnings are provided on detection of invalid or lost content.
-
Archive management system to store all historical data.
-
Edge devices supported for reception of RF, including the CableLabs'
EYES set-top-box.
-
TSMonitor can communicate with TSBroadcaster to obtain the data and signaling at source to
compare to the monitored traffic.
-
TSMonitor is hosted on a Linux server. We make TSMonitor available
either as a software only package or pre-installed on an HP DL 360 G9
server.
